Peter Paul Rubens a Flemish Baroque painter, was a prolific artist. Most of his commissioned works were history paintings, religious subjects, mythological subjects, and hunt scenes. He painted portraits and self-portraits, and in later life painted several landscapes. Rubens was born 6/28/1557, and died 5/30/1640. Here are some of the famous paintings of Peter Paul Rubens.
